Spec Stg 2 or 2+

Okay I'm within a few days of ordering my new assembly. I currently have a stock flywheel and a spec stage 2. Has about 35k on it and is pretty much gone. I was happy with the clutch especially considering the shop that put it in never resurfaced the flywheel. The car is just bolt ons but when the motor goes it will get rebuild with good heads n cam and sees almost all street duty with just a few trips to the track every year. I'm going with Specs aluminum flywheel but I can't decide on the 2 or the 2+. I know the 2 can handle the power I'm making but I've also been told the plus series clutches are much better for street not only for driveability but in terms of longevity and holding power.

I personally wouldn't buy into the 2+. I think your stage 2 died prematurely. Unless that's the average life (stage 2 lasted me over 50k in my Conquest and grabbed great when I sold it, not sure about the LT1 stage 2). My stage 3 was a puck disc and lasted me well over 35k. Maybe because the flywheel wasn't resurfaced?

IMO you should post personal experience or site a credible source if you're going to make a comment like that.
