Went out and put about 7 miles on the new clutch tonight. As expected, the chatter on take off from first gear is noticeable, but not unbearable. Will definately take some getting used to. I wont even talk about reverse Clutch seems fairly normal once you're rolling, but I do have one concern. In 5th gear, at speeds just over 40 mph, when you're near 1500-1600 rpm, and you load the motor up somewhat, it's like it hits a harmonic or something... a fair amount of groan noise and a fair amount of vibration, varying by throttle position. Once your speed picks up near 50, it isnt there. Havent had it up in 6th gear yet, but I predict something similar. Hopefully this is just part of it breaking in and will go away. Now for 450 miles of no full throttle

 

It might actually be safe to ride with you for a while.

The vibration and noise you hear around that rpm is likely from the solid hub disc. The t56 under 2k in general is kinda noisy. some more than others.
