Spec 3+ or 4?

Anyone have any experience with the Spec 3 plus? Prior to the blower, the Stage 3 lasted about 20K. I road race and do high speed auto-x and may do 2 passes a year down a drag strip, but with 4,400lbs car with 516rwtq, I would prefer to go with a springless hub and was leaning toward the 4. But would a 3+ be better?

Let me add that a twin disk setup would be ideal but to make a long story short after 3 trany drops the Street Twin is heading back to CA and I'm going back to my stock flywheel.

Any feedback appreciated.

i'm pretty pleased with my spec 4

it is touchy to drive in heavy traffic, and it grabs like crazy when hot. but it seems to drive fine.

i installed a light weight flywheel with the clutch and that makes it noticably trickier to take off from a stop under "gentle driving" conditions. since there is not much slip with the clutch.

Go stage 5. They just say "race only" to scare off people who arent worthy.

Ive got a Ram Powergrip HD and its holding my 383 just fine to this point and Im happy with it. I kinda like the grabbyness. I actually want a stiffer one next time. From what I know... the quality of Spec products goes up drastically once you get into 4 and up. The 1-3 are crapshoot hit or miss. Some love, some hate... you wont see much hate spread about the 4 and up. Think about it.
