Unhappy Sound from rear axle!!!

Ok before months ago, when I tried to accelerate my ’00 z28 on one way street I accidentally hit the road gutter with the right rear wheel "with enough impact force killing my heart " … because the car was with the f*** dealer for major service… I noticed that the rotation arrows of back tires were rotating opposite side (Goodyear Eagle GS-C) (stupid technicians ) !!!

Then after few meters I heard metallic sound from that wheel (R.side), I was lucky! car was still under warranty, ….

So after replacing a wear down axle bearing, the sound has subsided but still sound was heard (internal sound) only while turning right to left with 30-40 km (15-20 mph) from the same spot.

What causes this sound???? please any idea?

Try putting some GM limited slip additive in your rear.Sounds like the technicians didn't put any in there when they did your work.Should solve the problem, unless your posi is toast. But for $15 you'll know for sure.

Did the bad bearing chew up the axle shaft at all? If it did turning left to right or vise versa will make noise due to the bearing rolling on a rough surface.
