something is messed up

I was pulling the car in the driveway, then i back up, no problem. Then i shift back to drive and press the gas but i guess it hadn't engaged yet so it revved and did go anywhere, so i let off the gas. Then suddenly it engaged and the car was doing a burnout by itself! I let off the gas and the tires where spinning so i panic and threw it in neutral and the car continued to rev. so I turned it off. I wait a sec then start it back up and pull it into the garage, no problem. what.... the heck

Done any work under the hood lately? Check to make sure your throttle cable isn't hanging up on anything. Also check your floor mat! Sounds funny, but something similar happened to me and the mat got wedged by the gas pedal! LOL Good Luck!
Peace,
Mike

ya i think the throttle cable got stuck open. I check it out this morning and the cable came off the throttle body and the little plastic clips were broken.
