I heard that mostly all aftermarket clutches fail around 5K miles, how many people have them on their cars and have you had alot of trouble out of them? I know they're pretty cheap, but I was curious.

 

My SLP is holding fine and doesn't chatter one bit so I'm happy with it.

 

After market clutches are much better than stock. I got 70K miles out of my Centerforce dual friction clutch; 20K of that with a blower. I've presently got 22K miles on my McLeod Street Twin and still going strong with 593 rwhp.

 

i have over 12k on my spec stage 3 and i havnt felt it slip once...

I've been throwing 400+hp at my SLP clutch and pressure plate for about a year now. I've had the clutch for about 3 years total. Havent had any problems.
