I had recently installed a Hurst short shifter on my 95 Z28....I had to take the whole console off to do so...I am now going to install a qwikstick shift stick on the shifter and would like to know if ther is a way to take the boot off or do i have to take off the console again?

 

just unscrew your ****, and take off the leather boot. it will come right off, just has snap clips or whatever they are called on there... though it may be hard to get the allen wrench in there, and you may have to take off the top part of the console too, but that is also just held on by some clips.
