Shifting Points??

Question Shifting Points??

hey guys i have a 94 z28 ive had hypertech programmer for it i would like to start messing with the shifting points wat are some good shifting points??thanks

by adding to the shifting points wat is this going to do and improve???

It will bring you slightly higher in to the rpm band before the car shifts which SHOULD make the car a little quicker. It will also bring you slightly higher in to the next gear because shifting higher at WOT will engage the next gear at a higher rpm so the car wont have to work as much to get back up in the rpm band.


But these are very minor adjustment. You will notice them, but it's not gonna be like "wow" if you know what I mean.
