Shifter question

I was wondering, does anybody make a shifter that'll lock you out of certain gears? Like, if you were at more 100 percent throttle, or above a certain mph, it would lock out the gears that are too low, like how reverse is locked out until 5 mph? I think this would be a good idea, never have to worry about those famous 2-1 or 3-2 shifts.

Re: Shifter question

Best thing to do is get rid of the stock shifter. A good aftermarket one will help (but not prevent) you from missing shifts like that.
