Hey guys how do you remove the shifter **** on and automatic 98z. I need to replace the center consol and the **** needs to come off.

 

anyone?

 

There is a little clip on the back of the shift ****, you can remove it with a small screw driver. Once it is out the shift **** pulls right off.

 

What T.V said. Are you going to run a billet shift **** or what?

 

NO,no fancy shift ****, i cracked a little peice of blastic on my center consol and things like that get too me so im replacing the consol. Is this clip inder the shifter? Do i need to dig it out from the Bottom? Good lord i can replace a set of heads, but cant get a shifter **** off, ahah thanks for any help guys

 

I feel ya about the little things bugging ya. I am just like that. So you're just gonna get a stock shifter ****?

 

yeah i have just the stock one. Unless you have any sugjestions on a cool one to use.

 

Well idk about you but I like the contrasting colors. I'd get a light color (white, billet aluminum) with a dark interior or a black **** with a light interior.

 

u know of any sight that might sell such a auto shift ****?

 

You might wanna try RK sport or you could have the **** painted or stitched in custom leather if it's a leather shift ****.
