Shifter?

Trying to find out what shifter I have without taking consol apart. I know its not a Hurst from doing a search and seeing that it would have an H on the shift ****. I always thought it was the stock shifter because of the long throw but I hear people saying that with the pro 5.0 and ripper all you have to do is push up and it will go into third and with my shifter it does do that? ne help would be great...

thanks

You can just take the part of the console up thats around the shifter and probably could tell if its and aftermarket one. Its just popped on so all you have to do is pop it off and then you can feel around the boot at the base of the shifter and see if it has bump stops. Most aftermarket (good ones) shifters come with the stops to help prevent damage to the tranny.

I have a pro 5.0, it says pro 5.0 on the handle...easiest way to tell
The stock one has a rubber boot on the bottom of it.
