RKSport CAGS Skip Shift kit

Anybody have the RKSport CAGS Skip Shift kit?

I don't know a whole lot, but I figured this would be easy. I can't seem to get the female cags connector into the skip shift solenoid. It seems bigger and bulkier than the the factory one. There is some type of hardened goop in the female end of the RKSport part and I don't know whether you are supposed to take it out or not.

Anybody have any experience with this?

I got mine from Summit racing but I've seen the RK Sport's in their catalog.Mine had the same thing in it,it's just there to keep the terminals in there clean till you're ready to install,in other words,it needs to be unpluged 1st before you can plug it into the connector on the tranny

Just get the resistor from Radio Shack. $1 for a 4 pack, slap it in, tape it up and use the extra cash elsewhere.
