Reverse lock out question on T56 swap

Everything works now except the reverse lockout. I made sure to find an alternate source (parking brake) for the hatch release, i tapped pin 6 in the blue connector, and i made sure i have a switched 12v source for the other side of the plug.....................still no reverse lock out action. Has anyone had the solenoid go bad? BTW this is on a 1994 Z28 6 speed. Thanks Eric L

Yes, it can go bad. To test it, take it out of the tranny and simply apply 12v to the pins and see if it works. If it does, then it's your wiring.
