Rev limiter

So I had posted this issue before and I got some feedback from you guys but I was unsure of what I needed to do. Its a 94 Z28 with the auto trans. It has 4.10 gears in it. Now what someone said was that i needed to do something with pcm because my car was hitting the rev limiter before shifting. How do I do this ???

Did you have the rear axle ratio programmed into the PCM? If the speed is off the shifting is off.

Hey Injuneer I used my hypertech programmer to set the gear ratio at 4.10, the speed seems to be right. I did the whole run next to my moms car on the interstate and my speedo was right on with hers. Running about 2500 at 65mph. Is there something else I am supposed to do with pcm on a gear change ??? Or does the programmer I have work for that?
