Retro fitting 10 bolt...

To make a long story short, the rear end went bye bye last night. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can, or has done a swap with the old 10 bolt leaf spring rear ends? I have one on my nova with 373 gears, and the nova is getting the 4 link with shortened 9 inch. Needless to say, I have the rear end, but can I make it work?

I guess I should have mentioned it is a 96 z, and a 72 nova. I know that I have to measure lengths, but just wondering if anyone was experienced at this, or am I the maiden voyage?

It would require a LOT of fabrication and the width is wrong. The 8.5 from the Nova is a good rear and should be easy to sell. Use the proceeds toward a rear better suited for a 4th gen.
