Replacing transmission mount?

Replacing transmission mount?
Well guys, my tranny mount is shot. Now, I am buying a prothane tranny mount (the extra vibration doesnt bother me), but I am wondering what do I do to get to the old one to replace it?

All you need is a jack, and jackstands, or car ramps. Then unbolt the center bolt that connects the mount to the crossmember. take a jack and lightly jack the tranny under the tailshaft until it is supported by the jack. Then take off th four bolts holding the crossmember on. then the two bolts for the mount itself. reverse process and done.
edit: oh and the vibration isn't even noticable if you have a good balanced drivetrain. Mine vibrated like hell until i got a new torque converter. Now it's just like stock, but a lot stronger.

Leave the crossmember a little loose when you're setting the tranny back down onto it so that you can move it around to get the bolt back in the hole. Also, make sure you don't over tighten the stud for the mount because it WILL break off. Ask me how I know!
