Replace flywheel durring clutch install?

Going to be doing a clutch install and need to know how you can tell if you need a new flywheel?

Any easy way to tell?

You don't need to replace it unless there are any cracks in it. You do need to have it resurfaced, however. Just open the phonebook and find a local automotive machine shop. Take them your flywheel and they will surface it and check it for cracks for about $40.

always resurface when you change clutches even if no hot spots or glazing so it can mate to the new disk evenly

if the flywheel seems a bit rough, you can always go across it with a fine grain sandpaper...
