rear gear change.....vs is it the best
right now i have all the mods in the sig.
i will be adding a set of 3:73's soon to it...........
is that the best gear or should i look else-where
im also thinking of doing a lt4 hotcam kit soon.........would this be the best set of gears for me to choose?

What do you want the car to do??
Be quicker in the 1/4? Better on the street? A stall converter could do wonders for your 1/4 mile times
. Just make sure you install a cooler if you do a stall.
Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with going to 3.73's or even 4.10's with the A4. But even with 4.10's, my car was bogging at the track!
You don't lose traction like some people lead you to believe (unless your tires are really that bad). On the highway, it'll be screaming quite a bit more from what you're used to, but I guarantee you won't see that huge of a difference in MPG (unless you do all long highway hauls???
). My average mileage (city/hwy, mostly city though) stayed the same from 2.73's to 4.10's, at ~230 miles to a tank

yeah.........mainly just a faster car.
im thinking of going with a 2800 vig, just because it retains the same street maners, but is a more efficient converter.
i dunno, but right now these gears are in the future..................(i just want a fast daily driver, that will occasionally see the strip)
----something to occupy my time until i am able to afford what i really want.
