rear end question

rear end question

this guy around me says he has a perfict cond. posi rear end with 3.42's
now i have posi with 3.23's

is this even worth swapping??? car is a 95 z28

he wants $150 for the rear end

If you had factory 2.73 gears, then I would say yes. But if you have 3.23s, I don't think jumping to 3.42s would be worth the effort.

NO....unless you like to collect excess car parts. Reason: not enough to notice the change from your present ratio (3:23).

how much power are you putting down? it would be more worth it as a spare then to gain much out of it. its your call though
