Rear End Might Be Loose

Here's my problem.when i punch it from a stand still i get this loud bang and vibration from the rear and you can feel in inside the car. Lately when i drive normally and hit a bump or something it feels as though the rear end literally shakes and i dont mean the shocks. Its like the rear is going to rip off. As far as i Know the gears are stock. I have a shift kit in my a4 tranny. I also have Hypertec tuning, an air lid, 160 termostat, and the sway bar bushing and end links are poly as well as the torque arm bushing. Thats all the mods that i have. If anyone can help me out id be greatful. Another question: How do you know if your rear end has the limited slip diff. I own a 98 camaro z28. Once again any info will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Rear End Might Be Loose

Does 't sound good, pull the cover and see how many loose pieces of metal you have in the housing.

check your RPO codes for G80-limited slip rear.
