may want to elaborate a little more...

i think you're asking which rear end girdle is best...and since all the rears in the fbodies are the same, year makes minimal differenance.

but any of the girdles that have the bolts to put preload on the internal parts...can't think right now what they are called.

They all do the same function, find whichever one looks the best to you and is the best price.

They are normally refered to as T/A Girdles. They all work the same. They pretty much all look the same excluding the one you can get with the triangulated braces that mount to the tubes. So find the cheapest one, and you should be fine. I think Summit has the cheapest at $145

The T/A is a specific brand of diff. girdle. I have one on mine. Mac and Summit both make them also. Some out there are just a heavy cover and don;t have the support adjusters that screw in to your carrier brg caps ...make sure you get one with the adjusters!

As he said make sure to get a girdle not just an aluminum cover. T/A is a brand, but the others are based on there design. Thus why many people "refer" to them as TA covers. They are all basically the exact same thing with a different name on the back.

There is also a girdle with even more bracing from LPWRacing. You can read about it, and others being made in the "BULLET PROOF 10 BOLT? You be the judge! " thread.
