Rear End

I have a 94 Z that has the stock 3:73 gears in it, im wanting to go a little lower but i dont want to ruin the driveability of the car, it is an everyday driver. What would be the best gear to go with?

Umm.... To my knowledge there is no 4th generation camaro that came with 3:73 gears stock to begin with. And also this is the engine section. You might want to post this in drivetrain. Also this question has been asked alot of times. Might want to use the search function that we have on this board. It is always located towards the top of the page.

if its an auto it might be a good idea to put some real 3.73s in there, a manual i would go with 4.11

Check your build tag for the factory rear axle ratio RPO code.... there are only three possibilities:

A4 2.73 (GU2)
A4 3.23 (GU5)
M6 3.42 (GU6)
