rear end ?

i dont know too much about rear ends really...i've had an accident in my 1996 T/A about a year ago and i think it may have jacked my rear end up somewhat. i have a really loud squeaking noise coming from the drivers side rear wheel even after replacing the axleshaft, wheel bearing, bearing seals, caliper, rotor, pads on that side. It squeaks loud i'm thinking it is still brake related somehow but all this craziness has gotten me to think about the rear end as a whole..somehow my rotors are being bent back there and i'm thinking i may just replace the whole setup. i plan on running either a supercharger or turbo system on my builder motor LT1 (retaining the stock 350 btw). so i'm thinking i might need something that is going to take 400-500 whp by the time i get my new motor in. i want my car to be completely streetable and i wont be pushing much boost. i know nothing of gears and rearends so what should i look into? the standard upgrade to the moser 12 bolt? what is the story with splines and posi and all that? what kind of install is a new rearend for your "weekend warrior" mechanic? or is it better to have a shop do it..

sorry for being longwinded.
