Hey guys!

I have a problem, and am hoping that somone can help me figure this one out.

Took in my car to the shop (where i have been taking it since i bought the car.. trust the guy) I have a 97 Z28 conv. I have 127,000 mile on this baby,,, mostly highway miles. anyway took it in because the shop told me that the bearings on the rear axle were out. So he replaced then, and also told that he replaced other things, except the gears he said that they were fine. drove the car for like a week, took a 400mile trip. Once i got to were i was going the car started to make a tick/cloncking noise after taking off from a complete stop. after it pick up the noise goes a way.. to me it sounds like the bearings agian.. took it back to the shop 5 different times. they do hear the noise i'm talking about, but can not find where it's coming from. Like i said it only does it when taking off slowly from a complete stop and then i don't hear it again until i'm slowing down. it seams to only do this noise when the car been running for a few miles..never when it's cold. Please if anyone have any clue on what this could be let me know.
