ready to burn car after clutch install

Ok, is there some sort of special trick i'm missing to the the clutch form on the TOB!!! I have taken it about( the tranny) twice now everything looks good to go. I then push on the pedal and it goes to the floor, I try it again and hear cluck. I pull theslave and the fork comes off the TOB.

you need to bleed the system because it is hydrolic. if you have not opened the system (which you have to do to pull it) then you have a leak.

Sounds to me like you're not getting the fork all the way into the TOB.

Even with the slave cylinder removed, the fork should not just fall off the TOB. You typically have to grab the fork and pull it down to disengage it; if it's engaged fully.

I got it figured out. It was a bad slave unit. Just on a side note if you need any gm parts look at samtaylor or vandevere dealerships on here. I just bought a master and slave complete unit for a friends car for 130.00 del.
