Racing w/ the stock shifter..

I have the stock shifter not hurst. Is it dangerous to race w/ this, as in shifting to 3rd I am afraid of hitting 1st again.

I think it comes down to personal preference. If you do not feel confident to race with it then dont. Practice makes perfect, but I will also tell you that the Hurst is really nice and easy to find 3rd.

The stock shifter is fine, but i suggest getting the pro 5.0 shifter, it made i huge difference in my camaro and i never miss third anymore. it also cut down shift times quite a bit. just a suggestion.
