Well my spec stage 3 kevlar finally started slipping yesterday. I have a 1st gen design that is 3 years old and has served its purpose. I currently am putting down about 360 rwhp, but I am adding nitrous and a 9" 4.10 rear this winter. I want to know if the stage 4 will be able to handle about 500 rwhp. From what I have read it seems like it will, but I would like to be sure.

I also want to know where the cheapest place to buy one is. Thanks for any help!!!!

 

i also want to know if i should reuse my flywheel or get another one. i already had it resurfaced when i put in the stage 3.

 

Just installed mine last week and reused my flywheel. LMPerformance seems to be the cheapest place to buy them. Mine including shipping was $524.

Well I finally have the money to get the clutch but I have one question. Should I still go with the stage 4 or should I just get a stage 3. Check my sig for current mods. Keep in mind that I'm getting n20 this winter along with a new rear end. Thanks for any help!!!!

 

Stage 4 all the way! Got mine about a month ago. Be warned though, it bites like a bitch!

I just got my stage 4, thats a serious looking clutch disc, it looks very strong. I will be installing it this weekend.

 

Just got mine to.. Along with a nice steel flywheel.. The stage 3 and stage 4 is the same clutch, just there is no sprung hub.. if you want a good write up to read about on them go to www.nastyss.com and click F body and click clutches.. There is a good write up about the stage 4.. I broke the stage 3 where the springs are, they warrantied it and sent me a stage 4..

 

I read that write up already, thats what sold me on the clutch! I just ordered it 5 min ago!!!!!
