I'm looking at rebuilding my rear. Are the gears sets in the 93-96 (3 channel ABS) the same as the 97-02 (4 channel ABS)cars? I think the early cars have the sensor on the ring gear. Is the sensor ring removable or not?

Reason being I have someone who wants to sell me a new set of gears bought for a 98 and I don't know if they will work. If not, where do I have to buy a gear set for my rear?
