Put fresh rebuilt T56 in 2nd gear, now its stuck!

I just got everything back in the car. New engine, and had the tranny built to handle the new power. It was in neutral the during installation. I put it in 2nd gear to torque the dampner bolt. Then I tried to put it back into neutral and it wont move Its stuck in 2nd

I had all the syncros freshened up, new 3-4 fork, billit struts, and maybe other crap I cant remember. Parts came from D&D, and a local tranny shop did the work.

Is it possible this thing just needs to be spinning to make it work when its fresh? Maybe when I start it up it will work normal? I dont want to start up this brand new engine if I cant get the damn tranny out of 2nd gear

Can you possibly try to spin the flywheel the oposite way?.... maybe that'll help budge it loose. What about disengauging the clutch when you fire the motor, slip it a bit to see if it helps loosten things.

Out of ideas, besides spin the drive shaft...

I rotated the engine both ways with the dampner bolt. Everything spins normally both ways. But its still stuck in gear.

Im calling D&D tomorrow. They can probably tell me right off hand what the problem is. I just hope I dont have to pull this thing out again. Ive done this many times with a simple floor jack all by myself, but it doesnt get any easier
