Problem with rear end

Well i was at the strip today and after run 3 i hear a pretty loud CLUNK...im comin back down the return lane and its fine but as i go to park i swing to my right and hear clunk clunk clunk...and it slams pretty hard from the right wheel...now i decide hell i had my fun lets take the car home before i kill it and once again, as long as im goin straight now problem...maybe a slight slip and bang but nothing like when im turning...last time i blew the rear it was more of a clicking until it finally detonated itself...so what did i break this time...last time the ring and pinion gear were smooth...but this time i just dont know.
