I am looking at purchasing a straight cut gear pro shifted doug nash 5 speed and was wondering how much abuse they can take in a 3800 pound chevelle?

engine should be about 750 horse intially , maybe 850 or 900 when the boost is cranked up.

the car will only be a small slick car (no tubs) or back half

this will be a street/strip car but I am familiar with shifting transmissions with out syncros so driving on the street shouldnt be an issue.
