Pro-Built 4L60E Rebuild Kit?

Road Racing

Is that worth it? And, how much more "beefed up" is it than stock?

Dude, that's why I asked it here. I'll probably just buy it offline. I want to know if this rebuild kit is worth the money and if the transmission won't ****ing go out on me.

The rebuild kit is worth every cent. Dana is a very knowledgeable guy too. He's around the Drivetrain section every now and then, too. Call him and talk to him.

Hmm...I think I will buy it. One of my friend's dad works on transmission. I'm gonna see if he can rebuild it for me or not.

I talked to this reputable transmission shop. They said $483 for the labor. I would already have the rebuild kit for them to actually rebuild the transmission. I think I should. Keep the old parts and possibly sell them or somethin.

That's way too high. I paid $250 for my rebuild, bringing them the tranny and the parts.

But, what do you think of the kit I want to buy? Is there a better kit out there?

Should I just fix the reason WHY the car isn't shifting into 3-4 or get the whole transmission rebuilt?
