Re: pro 5.0 **** any good?
I had one on my mustang, and my buddy has one on his mustang. We both loved ours. I've never driven an F-body with one though, but a lot of people seem to like them. Good quality unit, it's just a matter of preference for it's length and angle.

As far as I know the Pro 5.0 is usually pictured with a know but doesn't actually come with one, at least mine didn't. It's an awesome shifter! I cut the stick down an inch, and I'm using the white Hurst **** that Summit sells for ~$30-$40. It's definately a good setup. Very precise, and the adjustable stops are great to have. There are pics of my interior in the link in sig. if you want to see what it'll look like.

Yeah the shifter worked awesome on my mustang. Mustangs are usually known for having to do those "Z" pattern shifts going from 2nd to 3rd with the stock shifter. After the Pro 5.0 I going from 2nd to 3rd was awesome. I'd powershift and just slam the shifter forward. No guidance or anything. It'd go straight from gear to gear without hesitation or anything. I never missed a gear after the shifter swap either.
