Angry Pro 5.0 deosn't center itself

I just got a pro 5.0 shifter because I'm doing a T56 conversion, and the shifter doesn't center itself when its in neutral. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do a search for "Spring pro 5.0", sometimes I've heard of some weak spring issues with the units before. Basically you can take the shifter apart with 4 screws and shim or replace the springs to get the return-to-center function stronger.

I did the shims and I can either get it to center from the 1-2 gate or the 5-6 gate, not both. I felt the hurst with the short stick in my dads trans am and that thing has springs that are 5x stronger.

That is odd.. try contacting the company, they are known to be very helpful. I've had no issues with mine in 4 years, still works great, even W/O the shims.

I found a spring with thicker coils so I just cut that down and put a shim on one side for the 1-2 gate so it has a stronger force than the 5-6 gate and now it centers itself perfectly.
