Pro 5.0

For those of you who shortened your shifter, How much did you cut off? Do you have to rethread the shifter when useing the factory ****? I have one on order and I am trying to get some info before it gets here. Thanks

I went with the Lou's short stick with the bend in it.
I need to find my stock Pro 5.0 shaft as I am going use that one instead now because my Corbeau seats sit a bit higher now and the shortened bent shaft hits the seat in second gear.
from what I remember, the stock Pro 5.0 shaft had about 2 inches of thread, so there is plenty to use after cutting it.
