Prescision GEars Question???

Just wonder if any here have used the 373: gear sets and like them from this company or any have plms. with them etc.??

So you have installed many of these gear sets with no plms. I have heard of a few that had plms with them??

i have only had 1 bad set they were for a gm 8.5" 4.11 ratio,, they installed perfect, the guy drove them for 1200 miles then they started making noise, i removed them and inspected them and they were wearing like they didnt get hardened enough, i called randy's ring and pinion and they said yes they have had 4 other cases of this only in the 8.5 4.11 ratio, they sent another brand and all was good

other than that(they knew they had a problem with them),, they are a very good gear, the set up is almost always dead on with the stock pinion shim and correct backlash

i have installed many, many sets of gears and different brands for people and i prefer the precision over the other brands

there install kits are very good also, they have a new style adjustable side shims to get the backlash/side bearing pre-load right on easily

Thanks for the reply so If I go with 3:73 all should be okay then, anyone else got anything to say about Precision Quality or lack of??
