Power Steering Cooler Install Issues

Hello-

Just looking for a sanity check here.

I hooked up a power steering cooler for my 94 Z28 M6. I ran it in between the return line off the rack and the reservoir. I left the stock line off the rack in place and added a connector and ran another piece of hose to make it to the cooler (stealth install on front of radiator).

I have a leak when running at the connector. I have factory 3/8 spring clamps on it and do not understand why it is leaking. Reading what others have done it looks like they are running one piece of tubing from the rack to the cooler. Is this a bad place for a connector? Does the pressure make it leak?

Thanks for your comments.

Paul

I'm using worm gear clamps instead of a spring clamp with no leaks.
