A 4L60E can handle quite a bit of power, but getting one built right is another story. I swapped to a T56 for that reason. My A4 broke and I couldn't see myself taking a chance with a 4L60E when a good condition used T56 costs the same.

When you get work done on your auto make sure you take it to someone that stands behind their work and is reputable for tranny work, that way it's not likely to break, and even if it does you know you can get it fixed without shelling out a bunch more money.
