possible true trac problems
possible true trac problems
ive had my moser 12 bolt in for 10 months now and latley ive been hearing a slight grinding around turns every once in a while, ive also been getting some chatter still and i thought it was from the drivshaft being too long but i had that resized and still have the same problem, is it possible that my true trac diff is on its way out?, what are the usual symptoms, i did not add any limited slip additive when i changed the fluid.
and eversince i had my driveshaft shorted i now have a vibration that gets worse the faster i go. anything over 75 and its bad, new u joints and double checked the balance by a very reputable driveshaft shop, they say its not long enough in ther tailshaft and thats where i am getting my vibrations from,
aproxamtley how long should the shaft be inside the tail shaft of the trans?
also i recently put in a spohn crossmember mounted adjustable torque arm and played with the pinion angle and found no diffrence/ improvement
thanks for all the help
