posi installation

My Z still has the stock 10 bolt in the rear and when i bought it the guy included a posi rear end with axles to go in. I don't have the information on the new rear because my dad was the one who picked it up and i haven't had a chance to look at it. anyway, how tough of a job is it to do and how long will it take?

Re: posi installation

If you're talking about replacing the whole rearend it's easy and took me about 4 hours the first time. By the way all Z28s came with posi. If your car has the original rear it should already have positraction.

Re: posi installation

when i burnout like on dirt, both tires will spin, but the right spins alot more and for alot longer, i was hoping with the posi they would be equal.
