Poll: What would you do??
Here's the situation. I've got a low mileage used Strange 12 bolt sitting on my garage floor. Plans are for it to go into the Black car that's getting the hopefully around 900 crank HP blower motor. However....
I have recently noticed Strange released the S60 for the F-Body. Now I'm having thoughts of putting the 12 bolt into our purple pearl car and getting the S60 for the black car. Seems like a no brainer......
Until you realize that you'll have to skip around on the stock 10 bolt in the black car for a couple of months. So, what to do......

Re: Poll: What would you do??
I'd suggest you sell the 12-bolt to me for $300, and buy 2 Dana 60's for your 2 cars.
Seriously, though: It's up to you if you have the discipline to drive the monster-motor Black car around without breaking the 10-bolt. You could put some cheap tires on the back of the Black car to make sure that it won't hook hard enough to wreck the 10-bolt. The Dana 60 looks like a nice piece for high-HP cars that see a lot of track time... it's probably worth the wait.

Re: Poll: What would you do??
Well, for now I think I've decided on the S60 for the black car and the 12 bolt will go into the purple car. I just don't want to have to be fixing posi's in the 12 bolt with the amount of power I'm going to be putting out. I'll only have to drive the black car around with the 10 bolt for a couple of months tops until I scratch together the coin for the S60, but I'm viewing this as a good thing too. Having the M29 six speed I'm not sure what gear ratio I'm going to want, and with the new motor gears aren't going to be such a big thing, so I'll be able to see how it drives on the 3.23's and go from there. If I feel it needs a move up, there's always the 3.42's or 3.73's for the S60.
Re: Poll: What would you do??
You've already sold your Ford product, and bought a Vette, now you just need to sell the Foreign car, and buy another blower for the Purple car instead of spending it in another rear.
All kidding aside, I say wait until the rear goes in the Purple car before replacing it. Just because the new Strange rear just came out at a good price doesn't mean it won't still be there later, possibly at even a cheaper price. This will allow money to go into the purple car to make it more likely to blow the stock rear it has now. Or it will speed up the progress of your Black car so I'll have a chance to put it in its place again.
