Please help! Getting very frustrated!!!

I put my moser in about a month ago now. The left rotor rubbed really bad. Long story short I took it to a shop and they fixed it and did some other stuff. Well know about a week later the rubbing is back. It is really annoying because I just want this thing to be fixed. The rubbing usually happens during accleration and when I go over bumps. The shop put a new shim on and it still rubs...do I have any other options? Could I grind down the caliper where its rubbing? I know this isnt the biggest problem, but it is just getting really frustrating...I just want this thing to work so I dont have to listen to scrapping noises every 10 seconds!!!

Put in a moser what? Are you trying to say that your brake rotor is rubbing on the caliper? Did it rub before the moser whatever? Sorry, but just trying to get more info out of you. Just trying to help.

Re: Please help! Getting very frustrated!!!

Sorry...I put in a moser 12 bolt rear end. Ever since the install my left rear rotor has been rubbing on the calliper...didnt rub with the stock rear. I looked at it today and I saw some shavings, but not much. I just got it fixed about a week ago and it didnt rub. Then slowly it started rubbing again...first over bumps...then a little while cruising. Now when I hit it down it really rubs and you can hear it.

Re: Please help! Getting very frustrated!!!

Sounds like either the rotor or caliper is not mounted correctly, or the caliper mounting brackets are off somehow.

Re: Please help! Getting very frustrated!!!

When you installed the axles, did you include the washers(shims) that go on before you press on the bearings?

Re: Please help! Getting very frustrated!!!

Thats assuming he went with C-clip elimination. Ken P is right though, if you bagged your C-clips, then you NEED those spacers on there when you press the bearings on. If you still have C-clips, then you may have to grind your caliper down a bit where it's rubbing. Mine used to rub with the factory setup. I just took off a little material from the caliper where they were rubbing.
