plastic clutch hydraulic lines

Anyone know where to find OE-style clutch hydraulic lines? I am swapping a T56 into a 3rd Gen and need a longer clutch line. I spared all my old fittings and roll pins, now just need to get some plastic tubing to cut to length.

A source for that style of line I am unaware of. From the majority of the t56 swap threads that I have read, most people use the forth-gen hydraulics setup since the clutch style is also changed. If you are using the stock t56 bellhousing, clutch style and trans, I would suggest using the forth-gen style hydraulics setup. If you are using a retrofit/conversion t56 then the third-gen 5 speed setup should work. The forth-gen hydro setup could be had from the dealer and maybe some other sources for a half way decent price, something around $150 if I remember correctly but I could be high or low. I don't think it was over $200 though. It will come fully assembled filled and bleed. A junkyard is another source. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Allan.

Thanks. I bought the new slave for the T56 and have everything, but it's just a shame I can't use the existing master because it will work just fine with this setup. All I need is about $2 worth of plastic tubing, silly to have to spend $160, but I'll go that route if I have to.
