Pinion Angle...Question....

Do you guys measure your pinion angle from the TA mount or the pinion it self???? I am getting different readings from both locations....Want my pinion angle to be correct around -2 -3 somewhere in there.....I get that if I go by the TA mount but it is different when I use the actual pinion....Which do you guys use????

Re: Pinion Angle...Question....

Quoting from Spohn's installation instructions:
...place the angle finder on the flat surface where the torque arm mounts to the rear end (this surface is parallel with the pinion shaft)...

Re: Pinion Angle...Question....

Well in my case its not......Not suer what the deal is......I cleaned the gunk off the rear end on the flat part and it read different from the flat part of the torque arm......It been 60'in good so I think its close to where it needs to be.....

Re: Pinion Angle...Question....

1 mark past the Zero (to the right) on the TA mount
2 marks (to the left) on the the DS....

I believe that is close to where it needs to be correct...?????
