pilot bushing

don't forget to replace your pilot bushing if you haven't recently, i just checked mine when installing my spec and holy crap that thing was like 1/4" oversized!

so new clutch, bushing, some new bushing in the panhard and torque arm should help me out. put the new injectors in and start tuning!

just a reminder to those doing clutches!

Re: pilot bushing

I noticed that the ID was larger than normal on my worn bushing too.
I elected to install the GM roller bearing instead of the bronze bushing cause I believe if used correctly it will work better. I even noticed wear on the input shaft.

They say if you do the roller bearing to pack it very full of grease to ensure that it lasts.

This has been debated but I figure if the bearing fails im going to know it by the noise and drag it will make and It can then be replaced.

I do know that a super sloppy worn bushing will create all kinds of issues.
