pilot bearing still in with automatic??

Will it hurt to have a pilot bearing in the crank with an automatic transmission. I just got my motor done and it used to have a 6 speed behind it well I got in a hurry and bolted my trans to it and put it in today. should I take the trans back out and remove the pilot bearing? Im such an idiot for forgetting this anyone know if it will hurt the motor or transmission? I've seen motors with pilot bearings before with autos but they werent something you really run hard like this one though. thanks,

no i dont think it will cause any problems...the input shaft inside the tranny...the converter doesnt even touch the crank...

I'll take the cover off and look at it when I get home I figured the way the converter is made that it would sit inside the back of the crank.

Shouldn't cause any problems. My Camaro and my Chevy truck both have pilot bearings in the crank and use automatics.

ok thanks, I measured today and the crank is about 1/8" deeper than the nose of the converter so I left it in just gotta put one header on, radiator and accessories.
