Hey all, the picture attached belongs to shoebox (Thanks)....Please notice the red arrow pointing the what looks like a grey plastic cap or lock of some kind on the shift linkage of a 4l60e tranny....Can anyone tell me if this piece is required in order to make the shifter cable function properly or what it's purpose is....Many thanks!
