I'm looking for a performance 700r4 to put in the 93 383, mine is loose in 3rd gear, It does have 130000 miles so it is time, I have looked at the performance Automotive and Transmission Center, and there "Rapter" seems to have all the stuff, but I'd like to see if they have any competition. a replacment built transmission is about 1300, no trade in no shipping, installed price and trade in is alittle lower @1000. Are there any "mail" order transmissions that are built and ready to go. Looking for a daily driver that can handle up to about 600hp in the end.
