I bought and installed a used 4L60e trans for my 95 Trans Am . I took the guys word that is was a 95 trans , but after searching the boards tonite and with what my car is doing Im not to sure . My pcm keeps setting DTC 83 - TCC control feedback failure the second the car is started . I checked my connections to trans , pulled the pan and insected all the wires to the solenoids and all looks ok . If my 95 pcm was missing the TCC pwm signal at start up , would it set the code I mentioned prior ? If this is a 94 trans , other than lock up control which obviously wouldnt work , would the car even shift correctly ( I have yet to be able to drive the car ) . Would not having that TCC pwm signal cause my pcm to constanly set bad chekcsum errors (?) ... which it is doing .
