Part # for T-56 Shifter Isolator Cup Bushing, Please.

Hi.

Does anyone have the part number for the Plastic Cup Bushing?
My GM Parts Dealer doesn't have it listed separately, but only combined with the 'offset shift lever' (for $100!).

Thanks...

It's only available as part of the assembly, not by itself. Every now and then I see some oillite bronze replacements popping up on ebay though.

Asylist, thanks..

I found the bronze one on Ebay for $35. I also found a place that sells the factory piece for $4.50+shipping, but I think I might fabricate it myself, considering how simple it is...

Thank you very much for your help!

Well I'll be...I just did a little more research into it, and it seems that the Ford T56 uses the same bushing (makes sense, really), and Ford offers it seperatly from the other part, at a much lower cost. Seems I'll be making a trip to my local Ford dealer soon, lol

I was thinking about that as well... Which model/year Ford would be the best bet, do you think?

Hi.

I just called my Ford dealer here and they didn't have it separately listed, as per GM.
Did you happen to find a part Number for Ford?

Thanks...
